Description

The SFF-8654 8i is a 74-pin high-density connector designed for unshielded, internal or external I/O that complies with the serial attached SCSI SAS4.0 standard in a small, flat package that complies with the SAS4.0 24Gbps high data rate specification and supports a wide selection of components.
The SFF-8643 is a 36-pin high-density Mini SAS connector with a plastic body interface typically used for internal connections, primarily for HD SAS internal interconnect solutions. A typical application is the internal SAS link between SAS Hbas and SAS drive subsystems. The SFF-8643 complies with the SAS3.0 specification and supports the 12Gbps data transmission protocol.
